How do the sessions work?
Sessions are very to the individual – it is entirely meeting you where you are at with acceptance and never any judgement. Trust me – I have more than likely been there too! While goals will always be established within the session to keep motivation, a session will normally entail checking in, addressing concerns, worries and wellbeing, motivational coaching & lived experience perspective, identifying ongoing concerns & patterns, connection and also sorting purpose in time. I’m here to help pull you up. Sometimes you might feel like talking and letting it all out and other days you might like to hear some words and guidance from someone who has been there. What I can guarantee however is when we work together, we are in it together.
What areas of recovery does the coaching cover?
This can be quite broad as when you start to recover, you realise a lot what you are healing from might not have anything to do with food or weight specifically. In coaching we cover many topics you are wanting to explore, talk about or connect with. We will work with motivation & purpose beyond disordered eating, inner work, nutrition, lifestyle, emotional regulation and forming a deeper connection to ourselves and others
How do I know that it will help me?
While I do not make any promises for recovery, I am best here to help guide you in elements that contributed to my own recovery and continue to contribute to an expansive life. Everybody is different and so is the recovery journey. I found when I stepped out of my own comfort zone to try something different it helped put pieces together to the bigger picture of freedom. I act as someone that might be part of your individual care team and hope that having a different perspective from lived experience and as a qualified practitioner it might help on your own individual path.
What is the time commitment?
I offer 6 week packages which I highly recommend to help dive deep into gaining motivation and seeking clarity. This also helps you stay committed and to build trust together. I do offer individual sessions as well if you are not wanting to make the full commitment just yet and also are available beyond the 6 weeks for ongoing sessions to keep your cup full.
Do you do in-person coaching?
Currently sessions after offered online through my virtual clinic and upon booking you will receive and email and text reminder that will have a link to your session.
I also offer WEEKLY INTENSIVES for interstate and overseas clients where I come to you – please contact me directly at lexi@lexicrouch.com for costs and arrangements.
Are there rebates available?
I do not have rebates available however have made prices affordable as possible. If you are struggling financially please submit an email explaining of situation and circumstances and I will do my best to help out where I can.
Is the information shared confidential?
Information exchanged between us remains confidential unless you are in a life-threating situation when I have duty of care to pass on. I often work as part of a team dynamic with your GP, dietician or psychologist and with your permission am able to work in conjunction so everyone is working together best for your recovery.
While many of my clients are under 18 years old – please be advised parents and carers will be given an update on progress throughout our time working together.
How do I track progress/ results
While my ethos is to eventually steer away from data and analysis, progress can be tracked with how you are becoming to feel. I do highlight embarking on a recovery journey tends to feel WORSE before it feels better but the growth and progress is measured in yourself perhaps for some the first time outside of disordered eating and control.
We will always check in with how you are going through coaching and I will honestly give my insight. Remember recovery is a journey rather than the ticking off a check list so sometimes it might be hard to see any linear progress but I’m here to help navigate.
